I am not exactly sure what would benefit me most: physical therapy, yoga, pilates or some combination of the three?
This is my area of expertise, so let me determine your individualized blend that will lead to the most efficient and effective healing possible. I truly enjoy working with people of all abilities and welcome your email questions.

Do you take health insurance?
Yes, but as an out-of-network healthcare practitioner.  As a fee for service provider, payment is due at time of service by cash or check. You will then be issued a receipt with the proper coding that allows you to bill your health insurance company for reimbursement.  Most insurance plans cover physical therapy. Please check your individual out-of-network benefits for details prior to your first appointment.

Do I need a prescription from my doctor for physical therapy?
No, as an experienced physical therapist I can see you for a total of 10 physical therapy sessions before contacting your physician for an official prescription. However, if you are planning on applying for reimbursement from your health insurance company it is likely you will need a prescription.

What should I wear?
Be comfortable and prepared to move. This usually means loose-fitting or workout clothing.

Are you available for teaching or consulting?
I have taught and lectured on anatomy and injury prevention to pilates and yoga teachers, doctoral candidates in physical therapy, and varied healthcare professionals.  I also have experience in consulting with marketing and advertising firms on the integration of holistic health and wellness from a unique female perspective with a strong medical background.
